So now they are trying to say the listing of the Dunes Sagebrush Lizard could effect the water supply to people of Texas, they are using the threat of water in a desert as ammunition to keep the lizard off the list. I just don’t get it. An amendment was also filed to stop the listing, if it passes the the USFWS will have to wait before attempting the listing again. I am not sure exactly how long of a wait that will be though.
In other news and our DBOTD a father threatened to burn the families pet snake and cut its head of during an argument, He was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
Police were called to a small apartment in London where they found 4 African Dwarf Crocodiles living in a small room. The animals were seized by animal services but one died shortly after. I am not sure where to go with this one, I mean I don’t condone anyone keeping an animal that is endangered with out the proper permits but if the London Animal Services is anything like the HSUS here in America then its no wander the animal died.
Last but not least a man was bitten on the hand at the 56th Annual Morris Rattlesnake Hunt, what can you say about that? GOOD!. For more info and the whole stories check out the links below.
