Broward County is looking for Alligator trappers. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission is currently accepting applications for the position. “A few thousand nuisance alligators are harvested every year in the state of Florida. Broward County is one of our busier counties for alligator calls,” said Gabriella Ferraro, an FWC spokeswoman. “It’s an area with a dense population and many canals and retention ponds, so you will find alligators. And some of those alligators become a nuisance.” To become a trapper you need a to pass a criminal back ground check and have no fish or wildlife violations.
