The outpouring of support for DRN after last nights blog post has been amazing. I am sure the hardest part of becoming a permanent peace of the reptile community is already behind us but can help the slight feeling of doom in the back of my head. I unfortunately got the chance to sit and watch a local pet store go out of business. This is a pet store that was one of the good ones, always thinking of the animals first but as soon as Petco moved into the county this pet store lost everything. It was very sad as I tried so hard to support them in any way I could even considering paying the bills so it could stay opened but it was all for not. This goes to show how so much support can eventually be a futile task and why it is so so so very important to keep the hammer down and keep sending the word around the world wide reptile community.
I know without a doubt I will always be a part of the reptile community but the problem at hand is if DRN will be able to survive these hard times. The good news is with the support of the community not only will DRN be able to survive but be able to flourish into a leader of knowledge and information for our community. I now once again have a 2nd chance to do DRN full time but the choice is up to you to make it work by passing the word to all your friends, family, coworkers and adequateness. I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all the support you have given. DRN belongs to each and everyone one of you and I greatly hope I will continue to be able to serve you for many years to come.
