39 year old Kevin A. Castle of Fort Pierce has been charged with a first-degree misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail and up to a $1,000 fine. He was also issued two warnings for improper caging after Florida FWC Officers found an EDB on his back porch in an unlocked enclosure on January 28th. Authorities said the cage was not properly marked or secured and the charged stemmed from a tip from an unknown person. Once again folks the laws in cases like this are very clear. You need a permit and have regulations to follow such as securing and marking the enclosures properly. I feel no pity for the people who get caught doing this I just with the penalties were larger to help sway people like this from further destroying our hobby and tightening up already crappy restrictions on it.
