So I got a couple of messages about the new editing and filming techniques I have been using, they are to follow
“please dont do those face close ups they make the vidios look shity like a bunch of others on youtube channal peoplr. i like my news to be profetional like it always has been.”
“dont get me wrong i love your vidios, i just hate watching vidios of people like this D bag. with the way they all talk geneticaly the same or change positons every 5 secounds.”
I thought a lot about this topic today and they are almost right. I have been doing DRN now for over a year and we talked about this in a vlog last year that I seem to put a show on, a mask when the camera comes on and am nearly never my true 100% self. The problem with this is I feel maybe I should just toss out all inhibitions and be 100% myself. The fear I have is that’s not what everyone signed up for and I worry It may be a bad idea for future growth of DRN if something like that changed now. Maybe easing into it or something would be a better idea. Whats everyone ells think?
In other news I just watched tomorrows show and I am super happy with how it came out and excited to hear the feedback on it. Things are slowly but surly growing for DRN and I cant wait until it explodes. It really feels like it can happen any time now. Wish me luck and spread the word and thank you everyone so much for the support over the past year. I love you all.
I did my first no edit vlog today. The idea is where I just turn on the camera and film a vlog, don’t edit anything and just upload it. It came out ok but felt funny not cutting the goofy parts out. I am still awaiting feedback on that to see if I will continue it. If you didn’t see it here it is.
As you can see I have kids running around driving me crazy all the time. Most of you know of my love for kids and desire to work with kids in our awesome hobby. I am supper excited about the new Kids Corner section on the DRN website and cant wait to get more work done on the Herp a wish program with Brian Barczyk. We all need to keep in mind how important kids are the the future of our hobby and industry and we need to make sure they are taught properly. After all they will be the ones on the front line of the war on bans sooner than we know it.
