Well fascinating is the only way I can explain the day. I saw a post on FaaceBook asking
Would any one else be interested in starting a Herp Kids Group? A place where we could share our children’s passions of the hobby.
With that being said I could not resist and sprung into action creating a spot for kids on the DRN website called “Kids Corner” I am just so soft when it comes to kids and think nothing is more important than educating them and teaching them the right way to enjoy our hobby.
I also added some more DRN clothing to the “DRN GEAR” page so I am excited to see how that will work out. I have yet to sell anything yet but I am hopeful it will catch on,
As far as revenue goes DRN is still not really making anything. I think today we made $0.04 as of this blog post. Its better than nothing but laughable when you look at what it takes to keep this up. I always look for ways to make money with DRN but have yet to find it or maybe its just still trying to catch on, its hard to say.
the kids section sounds cool 🙂 my lil siblings love my frogs. try to get em use to them now so when they grow up they might get into them , and other exotic animals 😀
I am all for a kids section. I have been training my son since birth about animals. We have been into reptiles, specifically snakes, for the past 2 years. He is only 6 years-old and he can recognize a lot of snakes on site as well as tell you what continents that my 3 constrictors (Ball Python, Jungle Carpet Python, and Red-Tailed Boa) come from. The more out there to keep him interested, even if he goes to another reptile, the better.
I hope it will be an extremely useful tool to educate children and attract children to the hobby. Thus far no one has used it lol but hopefully that will change.
