THE owner of a snake found in a Southport shop three weeks ago still hasn’t come forward.
Ian Hayward found the amel corn snake sleeping on the window of his TV repair store at the end of last month.
Ian and neighbouring shop owner Gary Barnett called in the RSPCA, and inspector Ian Robertson called in exotic animal expert ‘Safari’ Steve Mannion to look after it.
Steve said they have had a few enquiries about the snake but the real owner is yet to contact him.
