PETA has denied threatening to throw lizard blood over Victoria Beckham in a protest about her new handbag line.

It was claimed PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) were planning a stunt when Victoria is next in the UK, but the group has now vehemently dismissed the allegation.
The organisation has called the report “totally fabricated”, explaining they have only ever approached the star “respectfully” about her new accessory collection.
“We appreciate Ms. Beckham’s rejection of fur and had approached her – 100% respectfully – over the suffering of lizards and other reptiles who are often skinned alive for fashion,” PETA said.
Victoria unveiled her new range of carry cases at New York Fashion Week last month.
