Apparently authorities are searching for 10 more Crocodiles with yellow tape around their mouths in in the De Doors and Oudsthoorn regions, The Crocodiles got out during transport. The came from a road black back in 2006 and numbering at just under 1,000 animals were now being sold to a private person in an effort to raise money for conservation. Police in search of Crocodiles owner
A dead Crocodile was found in a subzero forest in N. Poland, Ca. Police are awaiting the outcome of the autopsy and say the owner could face up to 5 years in jail if he is found to have killed the Crocodile. Doctors looking over what they called the “female” Crocodile say there appears to be no signs of injury or malnourishment. According to them the animal appears to have been dumped there after its death.
Alligator found in Pa
On Monday just before 7pm police responded to a residents after receiving a call that a man had found an Alligator. When they arrived they found him holding the 3 foot lizard and quickly secured it with a dog harness. They transported it back to the station where it waited in a juvenile holding cell. An expert was contacted who is helping find the Alligator a new home. Anyone with information is asked to call the Bethlehem Police Department
Indonesian man arrested for selling body parts
A man from Indonesia was arrested for the online sale of body parts of protected animals including Tiger skin and Crocodile genitals. If convicted he faces up to ten years in jail and the believe he may be just a part of a larger group of dealers in wildlife parts. There are less than 400 Sumatran tigers left in the wild which some of the confiscated parts belonged to.
NY man sell’s Alligator to detectives.
Khang A. Vo of Syosset (seye’-AH’-seht) was arrested by the SPCA for attempting to sell an Alligator to undercover detectives. It all started when he put an add on Craigslist which was answered by authorities. He is expected in court on April third to answer charges for “Possessing a Dangerouse Animal ” He posted $250 bail <—-what a joke. The Alligator is going to be sent to an out of state sanctuary.

Not only did a Brazilian woman find a 5 foot Alligator behind her sofa but also found her 3 year old son petting it after heavy rains flooded their house. Fire officials were called to remove the Alligator. Firefighter Captain Luiz Claudio Farias said “it could have seriously hurt or even killed the boy.”
Capt Farias said it was “not uncommon for animals such as alligators and snakes to enter people’s houses in towns such as Parauapebas” which are built very near rivers and the rainforest.
The Alligator was taken to a less popular area and released into the wild.
