Researchers apparently have found that introducing Estrogen into male Garter Snakes produces the same pheromones as females and thus makes them attract more males. I have no idea who in their right mind would try an experiment like this much less care about the results but don’t say I didn’t warn you.

For the first time in their 150 year history an snake has been stolen from the Mimbai Zoo. Workers noticed the theft when they found
the lock on the enclosure cut and the snake missing. The snake is a harmless Red Sand Boa, Many believe the Boa can lead them to
hidden treasures. A complaint has been filed with police. The Mumbai Zoo covers 53 acres, is one of the oldest zoo’s in the country. It
holds 10 snakes including 5 Pythons and 2 Cobras which were not disturbed. The zoo is also host to 600 other animals.
Cobras found on train.
On Thursday passengers on a Ho Chi Minh City to H anoi train in Vietnam got the shock of their life with they found bags full of cobras
and king cobras after the train stopped at the station in the central province of Quang Ngai in the evening. Officials did not say how
many snakes were found but did say they were placed in semi transparent bags, they believe the suspect who brought the snakes on
the rain slipped away during the chaos. Officials say that in the past wildlife smugglers have smuggled snakes and sold them to
restaurants and according to Vietnamese law the snakes found are protected.
Another snake recycled
Another snake has been found at a recycle plant in Portland. Although the snake looks like a Python to me they say they have no idea what kind of snake it is. 2 years ago they found a much larger snake that had been dumped in a recycle bin. They have no idea where it came from as they dont tract what bins come from where but they are urging people not to dump dead animals in the bins because it drags down the process and no doubt give some a fright.
