Island residents want trappers to kill fewer gators
An apartment fire in Pittsburgh left 4 apartments destroyed but an Alligator walked from one of them unharmed. Investigators believe the fire started from a space heater that was to close to a bed. They are currently checking on permit requirements for the Alligator and seeing if it has any. Also found in the fire was a damaged AK-47 Investigators are also checking the legality of that.
On Thursday Customs officers seized dozens of reptile at the B&M International Bridge while someone tried to bring them into America. The animals were declared and during inspection officers found 52 live reptiles. According to authorities they did not have the proper documents required by CBP and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The snakes and lizards were turned over to the Gladys Porter Zoo. No charges have been filed yet against the traveler.
A man is a prime suspect after bragging on FaceBook about a monster Alligator he killed. As it turns out the Alligator was discovered near a creek in Bastrop County about a week ago and Game Warden Fred Ensinger says it is illegal in Bastrop County to Kill Alligators. Of course the authorities being smart used the FaceBook postings to track down the man. His name was not being released because chances are he will only be charged with a misdemeanor. The Alligator was a large 11 1/2 feet long, nearly twice the size of the ones they are use to seeing in the area.

An Alligator w2as found guarding 1.5 million dollars in pot near Helmet, California. Federal agents found the Alligator in a bathing pool as well as about 22 hundred plants. John Donna, the 29yo owner was arrested for cultivation and possession. The 4 foot long Alligator named Wally is not legal to own in California. The Alligator was caught by a trapper and has a new home at Forever Wild Animal Sanctuary.
A woman from O’Sullivan Beach stuck a python in the face of a 16 year old boy at 4pm on March 3rd at the Colonnades Shopping Center and demanded he hand over his cell phone. Police were called and the woman was arrested for theft, disorderly behavior and giving false details to police. The snake was confiscated and taken to the RSPCA.
