One of the questions I have been asked several times a day for a while now is “Where are the videos? Why aren’t you posting? Are you quitting this channel” Because of this I wanted to come on here and address some of these questions.

This is not the normal thing you would see on this channel and in fact has no reptile related information at all other than information on the future of this channel.

If you are only interested in the short, uncomplicated answer then the answer is no, I am not quitting this channel. If however you are interested in the more complicated answer then please stay until the end of the video.

Basically, what it comes down to is time. I just find it hard to make the time to keep up DRN, does that mean I will stop? No, in fact I am hear to tell you DRN is making a comeback, possibly this coming week. I have been working on several ideas to make it possible to fit it in my busy schedule. “But you are posting other videos all this time” I hear that one every now and then as well. The simple answer for this is, as most of you probably know by now, I maintain a gaming channel on YouTube, if this is new to you just search for “JayBird Gaming” and look for this ugly face. It is extremely simple for me to start up a game, hit record and then post it to the internet, likewise with my vlogs it is VERY easy for me to record and update and post it. DRN however take preparation, investigation, knowledge. All of which take time to acquire every other day. I must find the stories I want to talk about, investigation the situation, have knowledge about the topic. All so I can bring you the best information possible while adding my twang to it as only I can do. Because of this it takes time.

Most of you know I recently took a VERY “1 year plus” long break from DRN, I did this mostly because of this reason, after coming back I saw a large amount of irrelevance to DRN, like the break had ruined the channel. I worked very very hard but it was for not. I got the feeling of being shunned by the community for take my break. This is the very reason I kind of backed off and thought about my next move. I had to honestly ask myself “If the community will not accept me back, do I want to take the time and expense to continue doing this” The answer while seemingly simple was EXTREMELY complex, I guess in short the answer was YES but I need to find other reasons to do it rather than because people may or may not want it.
